Connecticut School Shooting - What Is Happening to the World?

Another school shooting has once again hit America.  There is much sadness and sorrow for those who are suffering the loss of loved ones who innocently had their lives taken by someone who selfishly and ruthlessly murdered them.   Those of us who are Christians need to pray for the ones who have this devastation thrust upon them by some reportedly 20 year old young man.

What is frightening is that more and more people are committing these acts more and more frequently.
In China a man stabbed a bunch of kids and an adult, so sin is rampant everywhere.

When people reject God and His Word and refuse to worship Him for Who He is, then eventually they may lose even the pretension of morality and are given over to their evil hearts.  It's all in Romans 1.
If you are one that says that you need proof of God, please check out this website:

People have denied the basis for morality being God and the Bible for so long that people are being given over to depravity.  People are told from childhood that they came from nothing or animals and that morality is a matter of opinion.
When you have a form of morality that rejects the only true God, then what basis do you have for doing what's right?  People know God exists, but they choose not to worship Him.

"The heart is more deceitful than all else And is desperately sick; Who can understand it?
Jeremiah 17:9 NASB

Can nations that allow the killing of unborn babies not expect callousness toward those already out of the womb?

Our only hope in the world is Christ.  People must repent and turn from their wickedness and to God.  Every sin is against God and goes against His perfect character.  Lying, lust, greed, gossip, stealing, murder, hate, adultery, not worshiping the only true God, are all sins against a holy God.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,  Romans 3:23 NASB

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Romans 6:23 NASB

Thankfully, God made a way for people to be made right with Him.
He loved people enough to send His Son Jesus  (God the Son) who lived the perfect life that we could not live ourselves.  Jesus died for the sins of those who repent and believe that His death paid for their sins and also believe that Jesus rose from the dead conquering death.
