Cross Encounters News, Hope Peacock, Hidden Sins, Hilarious Video

Today many in America are honoring those who died in past wars.
Since others are likely doing a good job on that subject, I am just going to list some other things that you may want to look into, listen to or watch this week.

  • Tony Miano started a new online radio program this past week that focuses on news stories and current events from a Christian perspective.  So far he has dealt with topics like the pledge of allegiance, the DOJs guidelines about homosexuality, the killing of the soldier in the U.K., and the Boy Scouts recent decision.  The name of the show is Cross Encounters News, and it is on live on weekdays at 2 PM Eastern / 11 AM Pacific U.S. time.  Tony also has a weekly show called Cross Encounters that is live on Sunday nights.  You can check out these programs by clicking here.

  • Some of you may remember reading about a then 9 year old girl who had a seizure and was found unresponsive quite awhile back.  Her name is Hope Peacock, and her mom has recently started a blog where you can keep up-to-date with what's going on with her.  If you want to know more about what to pray for her about without being on Facebook, you now have an alternative.  You can visit the site here.

  • Hidden Sins - Recently I read a blog post where someone shared a list by John Newton about sins that a lot of us gloss over.  The list is very convicting, and I realize that there are a number mentioned that I should be working on.  "Forgive Us These Faults" is the blog title.   You can find it here.

  • Finally, I want to share this hilarious video in honor of a conference that's coming up soon.  Yes, it has Sye Ten Bruggencate in it.  No, I'm not saying that the conference will bring nightmares like this ... I hope!   Be prepared to smile or laugh!
