Pro-Choice to Pro-Life . . . in Seconds! 180 Movie...Please Share This!

This is the exciting official trailer for the new 180 video that has been in the works for 8 months I believe! I shared a clip of it quite awhile ago and mentioned the pre-order of it recently. I will share the official link below the video. Please pass this on...whether sharing my blog post or the video itself or sharing through the official site! They want it to go viral! The DVD will be available September 26th, and it will be online too I believe.

Heres the official site link:
http://180movie.com/
My only disclaimers are that I don't know if there will be a lot of immodesty, and I don't recommend Kay Arthur who was one of the endorsers. Randy Alcorn also endorsed this DVD, and it's likely that it will at least be good to share with women....hopefully men too!
You can order the DVDs to pass them out as well!

"Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted" by Fernando Ortega

I heard this song mentioned in a message online (by a previous pastor I had back in California), and I decided to look it up. The words are worth reading, so I thought I'd share it here on my blog.

Hurricane Coming...What Would You Do?

A hurricane is coming. You’ve been told about it and you believe it. Your friends and neighbors are hanging around and either have not heard about it or are telling themselves that everything is going to be fine. What do you do? Do you run out and warn your neighbors, or do you tell yourself that you just need to prepare yourself and leave it to others to warn or deal with those people?
I can’t help but think about those of us who are Christians. We believe that people are headed for hell. People tell themselves that they are okay. They think that if they are good enough they will go to Heaven, or they tell themselves that all there is to this life is here and now.
What do we as Christians do about it? Do I run out and warn everybody? Do I tell them the Gospel and point out to them that the Truth is Truth whether they believe it or not? Do I tell them God’s standard by telling them the Law, so that they might see the sin that they are guilty of which makes them deserving of eternal punishment in Hell (like lying, stealing, hating, lusting)? Do I tell them that God provided a way for them to be saved from that punishment…that He loved the world enough to send His only Son to die taking the punishment for the sins that they did? Also, that He rose again, and conquered death, and that all who repent and believe can have forgiveness and a relationship with the Lord?
Well, I find that I am quite a chicken. For me I find that putting out tracts is the easiest way for me. How about you?
“But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
And by His scourging we are healed.
All of us like sheep have gone astray,
Each of us has turned to his own way;
But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all
To fall on Him. “
Isaiah 53:5, 6 NASB

"And the master said to the slave, 'Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.
Luke 14:23 NASB
‘But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require from the watchman’s hand.’
Ezekiel 33:6 NASB

Courageous Movie Premier Tonight & One-Eighty About Holocaust & Abortion

I have two exciting things to share with you today. The first thing (and some of you know about this already) is a link that will show live from the premier of the movie Courageous (not showing the whole movie...just what is going on outside of the showing probably). They may show a clip of the movie along with that though. I can't promise that it will be good as far as modesty goes, so I'm sorry if it turns out to be a problem that way.
It starts at 6 PM Eastern time in the U.S. and 3 PM Pacific. That will be 11 PM in the U.K. and midnight in Central Europe.

Update: To See The Red Carpet Interviews From This Screening Go To: http://mediasuite.multicastmedia.com/player.php?p=k7v7698x
The other exciting announcement that I heard this week is that the DVD of One-Eighty (not sure how they will spell that) that the people at Living Waters put together will be available September 26, 2011 (Lord-willing). I had shared a small clip from it some time back. It is available for preorder now. It is about the holocaust and abortion, and it has already had a big impact on the people who have been able to view it early. Some people have changed their minds about abortion when they hear what is shared on this. There is a minimum order of 10, and they are offering them at $1 (Update 2012: as of now $1.50 each if you get 10) each. I believe the phone number is 1-800-437-1893
You can now watch "180" Movie right here:

UPDATE:  You can also watch 180 at http://180movie.com or on another of my blog posts at: http://ktundergrace.blogspot.com/2011/09/180-movie-documentary-september-26th.html

One of My Paintings

I decided to share again some of my artwork from over the years. I'm nowhere near professional, so keep in mind that I do this occasionally for enjoyment. It's fun to have something completed, but I can't be a perfectionist too much when I do these things. It would drive me nuts! I will feature one or two at a time now and then. In the future I plan to share one done by my grandfather as well. This ocean one I did is with watercolor and perhaps some pencil and charcoal. It's been a long time since I did it at this point. I hope you enjoy it!

Separate from the World and Unified in Christ

I heard a couple of good messages about Jesus’ prayer given by John MacArthur in 1972 when he was 32 (amazing, huh?), and I decided to share some verses I looked up both from what I heard from that passage as well as others that related to my train of thought. The themes of the verses are to be different (set apart and holy) from the world, and the unity that true believers should have. I will put the links to the 2 messages underneath the verses below.

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:1, 2 NASB
“Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord.
“AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN;
And I will welcome you.
“And I will be a father to you,
And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”
Says the Lord Almighty.
2 Corinthians 6:17, 18
“I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. “I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them from the evil one. “They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. “Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.
John 17:13-17
Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
Galatians 5:19-23
“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me.

Deeper Conference (October 14-15, 2011)

There is a very interesting Christian conference coming up in October in Westlake Village, CA for those interested. It has a number of speakers that are familiar to me and the subject is the Word of God. I will give the link to the official site for it beneath the video.

Here is the link with more information for you:

Don't Waste Your Life (Is Your Goal Retirement?)

I think the following video I found is a good one and could be very convicting. The key word is healthy though. Not every person young or in their 60s is able bodied. God can still use people though even if they do have to stay at home much of the time. This is about where your treasure is and your goals...even while you are young.

Beer, Bohemianism, and True Christian Liberty

Please click on the link to see the Blog that was mentioned and getting negative response from some people.
Beer, Bohemianism, and True Christian Liberty
I replied the following to criticism of the Blog post by John MacArthur(with a few minor edits for here)that someone posted online:

I found what MacArthur said as edifying. In flaunting freedom some people get into trouble and get others into trouble...sometimes freedom is actually inviting sin...like watching immodest people and lusting and filling your mind with foul language that gets stuck in your head and eventually may come out of your mouth. Is that helpful? Encouraging someone to drink isn't helpful...not that a little alcohol is a sin. I don't drink, and people shouldn't start just out of a rebellion to their elders. Some verses that might be helpful: "For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” But if you bite and devour one another, take care that you are not consumed by one another. Galatians 5:13-15 NASB "Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul. Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may because of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation." 1 Peter 2:11-13 NASB "Act as free men, and do not use your freedom as a covering for evil, but use it as bondslaves of God. Honor all people, love the brotherhood, fear God, honor the king." 1 Peter 2:16-17 NASB
I respect John MacArthur.

Wayside (with one of my Sunday School girls)

One of the girls in the video below was in my Sunday School class for awhile many years ago (when she was in the 4-6 year old age group). She's become a beautiful accomplished young woman! She had great grandparents who were in entertainment...one co-wrote some of the Leave It To Beaver shows and the other was a dancer. If she should ever decide to marry one day, any guy who gets her would be blessed. She's the girl in the back in the video...her name is Mary and she's beautiful! The name of the group is Bremen Town.

One of the boys in one of my Sunday School classes is a really talented cello player and headed to Jiullard School of music. It's really fun to find out these kinds of things, and that they still seem to be interested in things of the Lord.

Lessons from Heidi

I finished reading Heidi recently, and I found it very interesting that Klara’s grandmother encouraged Heidi to pray to the Dear Lord. Even when Heidi didn’t get what she wanted ( which was to go home) the grandmamma encouraged her to keep praying with the idea that the Dear Lord may have a better plan. She said that if you forget the dear Lord that He will forget you. Okay, well, if you are a Christian I know you are not forgotten and God doesn’t forget the sins of the unbelievers as He is a just and righteous judge…only puts the sins of His children away from Him (who have repented and believed …but they aren‘t as close to Him when they sin until they repent). He will bring His children to repentance through chastisement and love. Still, the story had a good message in showing how God was working it out that Heidi didn’t get to go home when she wanted to. In the story God had a reason for this and a better plan. Klara likely wouldn’t have come to visit and wouldn’t have learned to walk again if Heidi had not stayed longer. Heidi helped others with what Klara’s grandmamma taught her which was confirmed to her by her own experience in praying and seeing God work things out in a way she didn‘t expect. She also got to read hymns to Peter’s blind grandmother having learned to read at Klara’s home (also something that Klara’s grandmamma encouraged her to do…to learn to read). Peter (a boy in the Alps) destroyed Klara’s chair out of jealousy while she was visiting Heidi, and his conscience tormented him. He was later forgiven after admitting to it, and even in this God was working in the story. The wheelchair having been destroyed made it so that Klara had to get up and try walking to see the beautiful place that Heidi was enjoying amongst the flowers.
In the story Heidi was sent home through the kindness of a doctor and Herr Sesemann. In the end, Heidi had the affection of the Sesemann family and the doctor and her grandfather. The grandfather was to share her with the doctor with them having separate quarters from the doctor, so that Heidi could be a help as the doctor aged. Peter and his mother and grandmother also were blessed through Heidi in the story. If you are willing to read a simplistic but interesting children’s story with an uplifting message, then I would encourage you to read Heidi by Johanna Spyri sometime. It was written in the 1880s and set in Switzerland and the Swiss Alps.
In my own life many times I have prayed for things, but often they don’t turn out the way I want them to. I know that God’s plans are far better though -- and His timing. I just have to wait and see. Perhaps I won‘t know all the whys until Heaven. Right now I am suffering with bad back pain which has kept me in bed most of the time for weeks (more than even my normal fibro. Pain does) I don‘t know for sure what is causing it to be like this. Some dreams for my life haven’t ever come to anything at this point. They might never be anything more that just daydreams, but I hope that in some way God uses me for His glory (which is more important) …and that even now through my blog and Facebook that He is using this “broken vessel”. This life is fleeting. We can’t be certain of what we will be able to do the way most people think…you could end up disabled or dead tomorrow or tonight. Are you ready?
“Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.” James 4:14 NASB

Please Pray for Hailey

I learned about this girl through a Christian website, and I thought that some of you might want to pray for this little girl too. She has something called epidermolysis bullosa. Men, please don't look too closely at the video.
