How To Love Your Pre-Born & Your Pregnant Neighbors

Speaking the truth about abortion and those who have their babies murdered doesn't negate love and the forgiveness found in Christ for truly repentant sinners.

Yet, at abortion clinics, women need to be confronted with the reality of the murder they are about to commit and the consequences of their sin.  They need to be called to turn from sin and to Christ.

God is a God of justice as well as love and mercy.
As Christians, we know that repentant sinners are made clean in God's sight.  We don't hate repentant sinners who have sorrowed over sin and been forgiven by Christ.  We love them.  Christians love unrepentant sinners too, and they show this by calling them to repentance. .   Christians have to be willing to warn unrepentant sinners that Hell awaits them unless they repent and turn to Christ.  Not every sinner is forgiven...only those who have repented and trusted Christ as Lord and Savior.   Please read the Gospel HERE. Only, as I've mentioned before, we mustn't sin presumptuously.

A huge problem is that abortion is treated as a lesser evil than any other murder, and some people want to act like mothers who willingly commit murder of their pre-born children are somehow not guilty or less guilty and deserving of punishment than those who murder (or hire someone to murder) them after they are born.

People also seem to think that God's forgiveness means no consequences.  David was repentant, and yet God took his child's life.  Sin is serious before God, and we can't just decide to pretend that women haven't made choices and have no or little responsibility as a rule

We shouldn't just be content to make abortion more sanitary or pain free.  We should love our pre-born neighbors by holding elected officials accountable.  We should stand strong to define abortion as murder, and we should let them know that it should be criminalized.

Listening to last night's End Abortion Now Live-Stream,  it was also pointed out how Roe vs. Wade is not really law.    Only Congress can make laws.  As a Christian, I know that even when man's law does allow for murder, it is wrong.   A country that approves sin is accountable to God, and He is judging our nation for rejecting and rebelling against Him.

This nation needs the Biblical Gospel (and faithful preachers and churches) foremost, but secondly, we should do what we can for the thousands slaughtered every day.  We can start by praying,  some should go proclaim the truth and the Gospel at abortion clinics and hold up signs if possible,  or help by supporting those who do.  People can help support those who do ultrasounds, and provide needs for mothers who choose to keep their babies.

Politically, we can start by not using the terminology of the abortion supporters, then also begin supporting those who want abortion actually outlawed, and also try to get lower branches of government to stand up against the overreach of the Supreme Court.  The  U.S. Supreme Court has been rejecting the Constitution it was meant to uphold when it denied pre-born babies the right to life and redefined marriage by completely distorting something to mean something that the writers didn't intend.

Our hope is not in our government, but we must be faithful to speak the truth and do what we can to save lives.  If we can't at least try to love our baby neighbors by sticking up for them,  who will we stand up for?

Let's stand for the Word of God and the Gospel, and then I hope that we can love our little neighbors as well as our big ones.

Which President Should Fill The U.S. Supreme Court Vacancy?

While selecting for the court is a president's job, President Obama should not even still be the president - given his overreaching grab for power with illegal executive orders.
President Obama has shown himself disrespectful of our laws by legislating from a Branch of government that is not Constitutionally granted that power.

While I do feel that any justice picked by President Barrack Obama would be terrible, I also realize  that if the shoe were on the the other foot pro-life Republicans would fight to get a decent judge in no matter how little time in office was left.

Sadly, there is no guarantee that the next president will pick a good justice.
Hillary Clinton & Bernie Sanders are clearly not pro-life and are socialists.  Donald Trump has no proven track record after claiming to have become pro-life, and it is reported that he has claimed his anti-life sister would make a good justice.
He has proven himself to not be honest during this election cycle from my own observation.
There is no guarantee that the U.S. will get a president that will pick a justice that will rule in favor of life and Biblical marriage.  As it is, there were not enough U.S. Supreme Court justices to stand for life, true marriage, and against Obamacare.

Why is this?  Most of the people in the United States are not Christians.
Many who  even professed faith in the past no longer see as much of a social advantage of such a profession, and so they now no longer make a pretense.
Others are swayed by emotional appeals and popular acceptance.
Those who still profess to be "Christians" are often willing to treat the Bible as vague about certain moral behaviors, and some "Bible translations" have outright changed gender specific pronouns, etc.
They are willing to read things into or omit things from the Bible to fit their personal comfort level, as they don't worship the true God.  They worship a made up god that makes things comfortable for them by accepting everybody.

They do not consider that they are keeping themselves and others comfortable in sins that lead to eternal Hell, so they ignore the warning of Scriptures and listen to lies about It.

These people do not realize that real love is not blind to sin.
Love urges people to repent and trust in God to save from sin. They do not seem to realized that faith that does not obey isn't true faith.  True Christians learn that a living faith will be shown to be real by a transformed life and not by continuing in sin.
People need the true Gospel, and morality without the Gospel will easily be shed like an old coat.

Still, the truth is, that many in America are no longer making even a pretense to standing up for morality, because the basis of their morality is not faith in Christ.
It is no longer as cool to be a Christian for many, and those who still think it's cool want to distance themselves from being "judgmental."

These kinds of people are willing to ignore the clear meaning of Scripture and try to cover it over with a blurriness.  "It couldn't possibly mean what It says, could It?  We must find another meaning."
It's no wonder they are not concerned with judges who are willing to consider the Constitution and Bill of Rights as living and breathing documents that can change meaning to fit the culture.

Many people who consider themselves conservative start becoming pragmatic about the election before a presidential candidate is even voted upon or chosen at all.
This causes some candidates to drop out of the race sooner than they should have to, and it leaves little choice for those voting after the first caucuses or primaries.
People are swayed greatly by the media and their polls, and the media shuts out candidates before they even have a chance to gain traction.
"Who can win?"  People listen to the answer to this question from the mainstream media or favorite talk show hosts, and so they follow like dumb sheep.

Two issues are especially important to me in choosing a candidate to vote for right now.

1. Is the person truly pro-life?  To what extent are they pro-life?

2. What is the person's view on marriage, and do they accept the bad decision of the court as fully "settled law" or not?

There are other issues that are important, but right now those are tops.
The slaughter of babies must be addressed.

So, clearly, not knowing who will be president next, I don't know that a future president would pick a judge that will understand that Biblical marriage, life, and freedom for Christians are not and were never meant to be thrown out by the writers of the Constitution.
If people don't believe the Bible and accept it as "settled" truth, then how can we expect them to make good decisions in electing presidents who will decide on the next SCOTUS justices?

Supreme Court Rules on "Marriage" - Are We Shocked?

Many a man is shocked and startled at the first sight of wickedness — and yet becomes at last so accustomed to see it, that he views it with comparative unconcern.
- J.C. Ryle

The U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that all 50 states must allow for homosexual "marriage."  The ruling was 5 to 4.
Those who practice homosexuality will rejoice, but those of us who truly belong to Jesus mourn.

Abraham's nephew Lot lived in a land that was at ease and flaunted immorality.
2 Peter 2:7-8 shows us that before Lot was rescued from the just judgment of God that came on that place, his righteous soul was tormented by their lawless deeds.

The temptation and pressure will come to capitulate and accept sin and twist Scripture to the culture.  Exposure desensitizes us to sin.  Humanism and socialism try to establish new "truths" that really are like the Serpent's words to Eve making her think that she could be like God.

Entertainment bombards us with acceptance of immorality, and public education has done its best to gain acceptance for behavior that is unrighteous.
We as Christians need to be saturated in the Word of God, and to be willing to risk ridicule in showing true love by exposing people to the truth about sin, righteousness and judgment.  Romans 1 is happening, and we must not forget that this is not the first time it has happened.  God promised not to flood the world again, but the fires of hell are ready.

Christians are Light in the Lord, and we must walk as children of light exhibiting holy behavior and exposing evil and proclaiming truth.  There is only one way to be saved from eternal wrath.  No human court's decision will stop the final Court's decision, but God's love provided a way that wrath could be appeased for all who repent and put their trust in the Savior Jesus Christ who was 100% God and 100% man.
He was born of a virgin - the perfect unblemished Lamb Who appeased the wrath of God by a sacrifice that would offer satisfaction and forgiveness for those who believe.
He  died taking punishment for sin and rose from the dead for justification (Romans 4:25).  Those who trust in Him will have eternal life, and you will know their faith is real as He changes their desires and produces fruit.

A pastor I had back in California a number of years ago spoke of a time when they might come for him.  Yes, pressure will be put on pastors to capitulate and perform weddings that are blasphemous against God (as marriage is a picture of His relationship and covenant with His bride the church).
Pastors may have to decide whether to abandon performing weddings eventually.

Justice Kennedy says about same-sex couples & marriage, ".... it would disparage their choices and diminish their personhood to deny them this right."
So, are there any choices that he would deny anybody with that worldview?
Certainly many choices that people make are harmful to themselves and others.
Homosexuality harms people, adultery and fornication and any immorality or impurity harm people...not only the individuals themselves, but it has a ripple effect to their health and everyone in their sphere.
What utter nonsense to say that not sanctioning unnatural and harmful and sinful behavior denies personhood.  If you truly love somebody, you don't endorse their delusions.

Professing to be wise, many people become fools.  They want to be gods, and so they prefer to give up absolute truth and create a fantasy world....otherwise they might have to acknowledge their accountability to their Creator.
